Oakland Rapper Kamaiyah releases her own project "Before I Wake"

Oakland y'all up... Despite Kamaiyah recently having issues with her record label not allowing her to freely publish her music, she's back and we are all excited to be hearing more new music from her and to see her return. Kamaiyah just dropped a album she produced by herself along with the help of linkuponproductions titled "Before I Wake".
The "How Does It Feel" rapper took to Instagram with an extremely dope visual shot by Evan Crocker and a truly heartfelt caption to go along with it that stated "This past year has been extremely hard for me I lost my brother to cancer and went through a extreme depression and creatively I felt trapped with my project being held up due to samples I lost my way and decided to take initiative by recording and putting together music for my fans all on my own".
