Nipsey Hussle on Rollin 60s Making Corporate Business Moves (Flashback)

In this flashback clip from 2014, Nipsey Hussle explained to VladTV why he made the decision to join the Rollin 60s Neighborhood Crips, which he said came about when he left his mother's home around the age of 14. He recalls being the first member of his family to join the gang, with his main focus being to earn enough money to create his own music. From there, he speaks on what it was like to be involved at such a young age, including having to fight other gang members during his initiation. Ultimately he says that growing up in gang culture leaves you with one of two choices, either to "be a part of it or get the f*** out of the way." For Nipsey, however, he was able to take the principles of the culture along with him as he began to make moves on a corporate level, always continuing to rep the set as he became one of the most beloved artists of his era.
