I grew up in the South Bay my whole life north Torrance to Gardena lived in both city’s for most of my life. That’s where I experienced my youth at. Went to North High School and graduated from there while living in Gardena. Rap all started in school really I was always a good writer I always wrote good stories. My father went to prison during my high school years of school and that's when I started really being depressed and experienced some things that led me to smoking weed and hanging out with certain influences. That's when I started writing about my life and the struggles I encountered. It wasn't till the 12th grade when I recorded my first verse and it was called " She just wanna party" it was me and ducci and a artist in the city that I come from his name is baby bounce and he recorded us and he actually came up with my name A-Ro in the garage we were recording at and I ran with it ever since. Plus my first name is Angel so that’s where the A comes from and my last name is Romero that’s where the “RO” comes from. I then wanted to put out a project my very first one titled "The Lost Angel" it was my story. So after a while that name resonated to me more and more so I then became
A-RoTheLostVngel which led to me to creating my label/entertainment group titled "LO$TVNGELxENTERTAINMENT". Ever since then I've just been getting better and better and growing. Still not where I want t0 be but definently striving for it. Definently not a smooth road from my father going to prison to bills not being met and food scarce at times but my mother and father always made a way always hustlin to provide! That’s where I get my hustle from it’s in the genetics. I never got caught up in the gang world even though my background is very gang related but my pops never affiliated me with that. I don't think it's ever a smooth road growing up in minority homes. I used my struggles as fuel to go harder at what I do and put it all in the music and that's what Ive done. Won't stop till my story is heard and the music is felt. I run a business wit my family and a Music Label that's ran by me and my brother we are the actual artist on this label we specialize in being real and organic as possible. Thats what separates us from the rest. A lot of these labels out here are just playing by the book and being on some industry shit. We prefer to be ourselves because who can do what you do? Being you is unique already and that's what makes a great artist is them being who they are and stand for what they stand for. We are known for lyrics and bars and flow and giving a quality performance. I also have the labels website where I sell merchandise clothing etc. You can find it at lostvngel.com. I am proud of how far we've come and how far we still have to go! My criteria of success wouldn't be what most want. Most would say money and a big house, fancy car etc. But me personally success would be knowing I am doing what I'm destined to do and that my message is being heard and felt by millions of people. That would be success to my plan. And of course the material things come with it.
Projects/Singles:
I’ve put out a couple mixtapes. Collab mixtapes and personal. I wouldn’t really call those my prime projects just practice and me getting better I’d say. I’m more proud of my recent single vengeance and the reaction it received and I just put out a freestyle video and thats getting a great reaction as well. I’m currently 80% done with my new project titled “NO SIGNAL” and this project is my best work yet! It’s been a year now I’ve been working on this project and it’s comin out exactly how I want it to sound we comin for that GRAMMY! Lol
End Game Goal:
My end game goal would have to be changing lives with my music and reaching those that’s experienced hard ship and hopefully change there lives that’s what I hope my lyrics do to people’s mind sets just like PAC and Nipsey did.
