Cam Carter Releasing New Music Soon!

Independent Artist Mathew Cameron Carter born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee decided in 2015 he would take the next step to work on his music career. The rapper known as Cam Carter moved to Los Angeles following the death of his late mother in 2014. Looking for the next chapter in his life his father pushed him to take a big step that would help him jump start his career. Cam Carter decided he would take a chance and move to the City of Angels because he believes, “life it too short to have what if’s circling though my head.”

The Memphis Rapper who began writing his own music since he was in middle school made it to Los Angeles, California and in 2018 he began to pursue his career in music. However, it took some time to get where he is now. He worked several jobs including sushi chef, construction, and a corporate office position. He worked his way up in order to finance his goal of becoming a recording artist. In 2018, Cam Carter recorded his first two singles “Knee High” and “Haha”. After that, as some would say, the rest was HISTORY!

Cam Carter is a hip-hop artist, however, the Memphis Artist considers himself a songwriter FIRST! He doesn’t have barriers when it comes to writing music. Carter explains, “God has granted me the power of discernment and that definitely helps me be more valuable as a songwriter because I can jump into perspectives that most people can’t. “ He explained, “Whatever skills I lack as a recording artist, I make up for with my pen.”

The Memphis artist hopes to earn plaques and recognition as a recording artist/songwriter. His goal is to be in a better position to help talented artists that need help financially to make it to the next level.

Recently, Cam Carter reveals he has been working his debut album which will be titled, “Halo Into Hell” He explained, “I just want to push singles so I can give a hint of my versatility while I slowly but surely record my album”

Although fans were expecting to see Carter perform live earlier this year at the infamous Los Angeles venue, Whiskey-a-go-go, they are still getting a preview of his album with his newly released tracks “Spaceships” and “Just Listen”.

Due to COVID-19 the highly anticipated performance was postponed to later this year. The date has yet to be released.

Never underestimate Cam Carter! He is about to drop new music when you least expect it! Look out for “Pink Panther” his next single dropping this month featuring Memphis Hip-Hop Legend Kingpin Skinny Pimp!
