According to reports, Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors admitted she lied when she previously denied using the group’s $6 million property solely for official business.
Cullors spoke to the Associated Press on Monday, saying she used the 7-bedroom Studio City compound for her own recreational purposes twice. One instance found the BLM co-founder holding a party for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ inauguration as President and Vice President of the United States in January 2021. In another instance, the mansion was used in March 2021 for her son’s birthday party. While speaking about the lie she told, Cullors said, “I look back at that and think, that probably wasn't the best idea.”
Previously, Cullors took to Instagram to reveal that Candace Owens showed up outside her home with a news crew early in the morning looking to speak to her.
