Known for his raw energy and fearless artistry, Maco quickly became a voice in the culture with a track that defined a moment in hip-hop history. But behind the scenes, OG Maco faced immense challenges. After surviving a horrific car accident in 2016 that left him with severe injuries, he later revealed in 2019 his battle with a rare flesh-eating disease. TMZ reports that Maco tragically passed from a self-inflicted gunshot wound after weeks of hospitalization.
