Matt Barnes opened up to VladTV about forming a friendship with Nipsey Hussle when the late rapper started getting into the rap world. Matt explained that he reached out to Nipsey on Twitter as a fan when he started playing for the Lakers in 2010, and the two chopped it up in person after Matt invited Nipsey to a game. Over the years, Matt explained that he would meet up with Nipsey, and he shared their last meeting just weeks before Nipsey was murdered.
